The DCD996 is DeWalt's most powerful 18v XR brushless XRP combi drill. It has an automatic high speed hammer action at 38,250 BPM for increased efficiency when drilling into masonry, three speed settings, an adjustable LED worklight with 20 minute delay setting, and a multi-position auxiliary handle for additional control when undertaking high torque applications. It is rated for drilling up to 55mm diameter holes into wood, 15mm in metal and 16mm in masonry.
